Baked French Fries (Weight Watchers)


1 1⁄4 lb baking potato, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch strips
3⁄4 teaspoon salt, divided
1⁄2 teaspoon sugar
4 teaspon oil
1 teaspoon paprika

  1. The oven is preheated to 450 °F or 230 °C. Use nonstick cooking spray into a nonstick baking sheet.
  2. With potatoes, put in a large bowl 1/4 teaspoon salt, and sugar. Cover all with enough cold water. After soaking for about 15 minutes, let it drain and blot dry.
  3. Toss potatoes with oil and paprika into a separated large bowl. Put this preparation in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Potatoes should be turned while baking and get brown until they become cooked and crispy after 45 minutes.
  4. With the remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt, sprinkle the preparation. Then, it is ready for serving.
