Deep dish pizza casserole


1 lb ground beef

1 (15 oz) canister of chunky Italian style tomatoes cooking spray (Pam)

1 (10 oz) canister of refrigerated pizza dough

6 oz shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese


  • Preheat oven to 425°
  • Cook meat in non-stick small stove over medium-high cooking temperature until it becomes brown, stir it until being crumbled. Drain, if required, and return to the small stove. Add tomatoes, and cook until the mixture is heated.
  • Meanwhile, use a cooking spray to cover a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Unroll pizza dough crust, and press into bottom to make the baking dish a halfway upside down. Garnish the pizza crushed with meat mixture.
  • Insert into oven without being covered, at 425° during 12 minutes. Then, add cheese, and bake for 5 minutes or until cheese melts and the crust part is well browned. After 5 minutes out of oven, it can be served.
