Skinny Creamy Baked Spaghetti

Skinny Creamy Baked Spaghetti


  • 12 oz spaghetti cooked to al dente
  • 1 lb lean ground beef (I used 93/7)
  • 1 tsp. dried italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 cups petite diced tomatoes
  • 2 oz reduced fat cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup light sour cream
  • 1/8 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups reduced fat shredded cheddar cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly mist a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. When hot, stir in ground beef until slightly brown making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks. Drain off excess water and fat from meat and stir in diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning.
  4. To make the white sauce, combine garlic powder, cream cheese, parmesan and sour cream in a medium bowl. Beat together until smooth, creamy and well combined.
  5. Add pasta into the prepared baking dish and pour over meat mixture on top. Dollop cream cheese mixture over meat mixture as evenly as possible. Top with shredded cheddar and bake for 30 minutes until sauce is thick and cheese has melted.
  6. Makes 8 servings
