Doctors: Stop Feeding Your Kids Hot Dogs Immediately

The doctors recommend to stop feeding your kids hot dogs. This food is favorite to the people in America for sure. The hot dogs are often present in our meals, especially for festivals.

Around 155 million hot dogs are consumed on every 4th of July in America. That is a big amount.

But, according to one new research, the kids who eat more than a dozen hot dogs in a month are 9 times more likely to get leukemia.

Also, the pregnant women who consume 1 hot dog in a week are more likely to have a kid who will get a brain tumor.

Also, the father who usually consumed hot dogs before conceiving a kid, imparts a high possibility of cancer to his kid too.

The problem is: nitrite additives

The nitrite additives are added to the hot dogs, usually to fight botulism.

Through the cooking process of hot dog, the amines and nitrates are combined. The amines are present in the meat natural to for the N-nitroso, and it is a very carcinogenic compound.

So, if you like to feed your family and children hot dogs, better opt for nitrite-free meats or you should limit the portions of hot dogs.
