5 Cancer-causing Snacks Your Children Should Never Eat Again

Stop Feeding these Five Cancer-Causing Snacks to Your Kids!

Children are precious for any parent and we will do our best to provide all the great things in life to keep them sheltered, happy and healthy. A part of their happiness is food and majority of that food are snacks. And even if we want to always give them the healthiest treats, their endless begging, whining or googly eyes for the unhealthiest of treats still wins. However, there are snacks that you might want to have a firm “no” answer to your kids.

The snacks that we are talking about are the most common snacks we find in the grocery or supermarkets. And these snacks are known to contain ingredients that may cause cancer. And cancer in kids are no longer new, since there are already hundreds of cases around the world.

One of the ingredients found on these snacks and other snacks that can cause cancer is petroleum. You may not know it, but some of the most popular snacks around the world contain this dreaded cancer-causing ingredient. Refined petroleum has another name in the food industry- food coloring. The most dangerous and cancer-causing food colorings are Yellow 5, Yellow 6 and Red 40. And most snacks have these food colorings.

If you want to protect your child from cancer and other serious illnesses, you need to stop giving them these snacks.

  • Fruit Snacks

The colors are attractive, the smell is enticing and the tastes are just like the real fruits- only this snack can cause cancer. The colorful Fruit Snacks may pose as a good snack since the taste mimics the real fruits, but the colorings used for this snack are anything but healthy. The same food coloring, Red 3, used in most fruit snacks is already banned for cosmetic use. Red 3 is a petroleum-based product which is known to potentially cause growth of thyroid tumors.

  • Cheetos

The playful tiger is not as wonderful as it seems. Cheetos are definitely unhealthy and can be considered as junk food. Not only is this snack too salty, it also contains Yellow 6, another petroleum-based ingredient. Yellow 6 provides the “cheesy” color to Cheetos. The cheese flavorings also include methyl benzoate and ethyl methylphenidate which are both very dangerous for the body.
