Early Warning Signs Your Body’s Magnesium Levels Are DANGEROUSLY Low

Magnesium is a mineral that the body requires the most, yet a number of people have magnesium deficiency. The body of a normal human has from one to two ounces of magnesium which is found in the teeth and the bones, but some can also be found in the brain and heart and even in the blood. As a matter of fact, all body cells require magnesium in order to function properly. However, about half of the Americans suffer from magnesium deficiency.

The reason for this is the lifestyle which is usually hectic and busy and the human body uses the magnesium supply so that it can manage physical and mental stress. To simplify, our bodies use magnesium faster than our bodies are able to take it in. Some of the signs of magnesium deficiency are:

  • Facial twitches
  • Blood clots
  • Migraines
  • Irritability
  • Anxiety
  • Leg cramps
  • Depression
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Unstable blood sugar levels
  • Insomnia
  • Osteoporosis
  • Cardiovascular disease

It is theorized that magnesium is also beneficial for Alzheimer’s, since it improves the intake of oxygen in the brain. It is also related to Parkinson’s tremors because certain studies proved that people with Parkinson’s had reduced magnesium levels in their brains.

Magnesium deficiency is also related to some chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes and the metabolic syndrome. Magnesium deficiency also causes overproduction of insulin, thereby the excess glucose moves into the cells and causes inflammation.

Magnesium for Your Body and Your Mind

Some foods which are high is magnesium are avocados, fish, green leafy vegetables like spinach and kale, whole grains, dark chocolate, nuts, legumes,  and seeds like flax, chia, pumpkin, millet and sunflower.

You can also try a supplement but it needs to be of high quality and it needs to contain the cofactors Taurinate, Malate, Orotate and Glycinate.
