The Noodles That Cause Chronic Inflammation, Weight Gain, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s

Because of the fast pace of this changing world, a lot of people do not have the luxury of time to make things through the normal process. Almost everything now is instant- from the things that we use down to the food that we eat, like instant coffee, instant meal, and even instant noodle.

Instant noodles are popular food that many people find very helpful and enjoyable. If you are a person too busy to cook home-made food, but is craving for hot and satisfying noodles or ramen, you would probably turn to cooking instant noodles. There are a lot of instant noodles and ramen available in the market, some of which are so instant, that you just have to pour hot water in it and wait for three to five minutes then you’re ready to go! It’s cheap, easy to cook and easy to eat.

But is it easy and healthy to digest? The answer is a big no! in fact, it is not healthy, as some false advertisements would insist. Instant noodles contain a lot of synthetic chemicals, sodium, trans-fats, food coloring, and other preservatives.

One study conducted showed how difficult it is for the stomach to digest the instant noodles. A video of this study shows how the stomach wasn’t able to break down the noodles. What’s more alarming is that it took a few days for the noodles to be digested.

This is because of the numerous chemicals and preservatives used for the instant noodles’ longer shelf life. Most of the instant noodles in the market are made of Maida, a milled, refined and bleached version of wheat flour. It is highly processed which makes it very dangerous for anyone who will consume it.

Another factor why it is difficult to digest is it contains tertiary-butyl hydroquinone (TBHQ) derived from the petroleum industry, which are also found in varnishes, lacquers, and pesticide products, as well as cosmetics and perfumes. TBHQ reduce the evaporation rate and improve stability. Though other products have this kind of chemical and can be consumed in little amounts, you are still at risk of acquiring different health conditions and disorders.
