TAKE A CLOSER LOOK, THE COLOR OF YOUR TONGUE CAN REVEAL IF YOU HAVE CANCER

Most people aren’t aware that the color of their tongue can give out the condition of their health. Having and oddly colored tongue may indicate some diseases or health disorders, so in this article we show you which color is associated with which condition.

IF EVERYTHING IS FINE WITH YOUR HEALTH, YOUR TONGUE SHOULD BE PINK.

However, if your tongue is in some of the colors listed below, you might have some nutrient deficiency or a bigger health problem. So, it’s advised that you check yourself at the doctor’s.

Black Tongue – This color indicates that you have built up bacteria and fungi in your body. Also, if you smoke too much or consume some kinds of drinks or foods, your tongue might turn black.

So, use a mouthwash or ask your doctor for some antibiotics to eliminate the fungi and bacteria.

Yellow Tongue – This color also indicates that you have bacteria built up, but it can also be a result of inflammation of the papillae.

This happens when you don’t consume enough liquid, so your mouth becomes dehydrated. If you’re breathing from your mouth instead of the nose, or if you’re a smoker you might also get this color. So, drink plenty of water and step up your oral hygiene.

White Tongue – Having a white tongue might be due to several reasons. If you consume some antibiotics, have a fungal infection of the oral cavity mucus membrane, or have leukoplakia (this might be an early sign of cancer). Consult yourself with your doctor immediately.
