104-Year Old Japanese Doctor Recommends These 14 Healthy Pieces of Advice

The Japanese doctor Shigeaki Hinohara, now 104, is the founder of the “New Elderly Movement” and the author of 150 books, including the best-seller “Living Long, Living Good”.

Dr. Hinohara reveals 14 of the most valuable lessons and secrets to a long, happy, and prosperous life:

1. Be fit

Every morning, he has a tablespoon of olive oil, orange juice, and coffee for breakfast, cookies, and milk for lunch and rice, fish and vegetables for dinner. Twice a week, he eats 100g of lean meat.

2. Do not believe everything your doctor recommends

Explore by yourself, and do not rely on the advice of your doctors without being completely sure their proposal is the best solution.

3. Science alone cannot cure people

Dr. Hinohara believes every human being is a unique individual and maintains that liberal and visual arts can cure all illnesses.
