Many people struggle to lose weight, although it isn’t that hard if you put your heart and mind into it. There might be a million articles on internet which give “tips” to lose weight, but do you know there are some simple rules you need to follow for having weight loss? You might have seen people losing weight and then wondered, “When would that be me?” Don’t worry, here are the guidelines you must go by, to achieve a healthy weight for yourself.
RULE NO.1 – EAT LESSER AMOUNT OF CALORIES :
Start counting the calories that you are taking. You should take about 500 calories lesser than what you consume in your daily activity. For an average person, it is said that they should eat about 1200 to 1500 calories a day, depending on the level of exercise they do. Even if you have a slow metabolism, taking lesser calories would show results within two weeks.
RULE NO.2 – SCALES DON’T ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH.
When you start working out, it doesn’t mean that a lot of weight would bounce off the scale right away. Rather, you would start noticing change in your looks. Your muscles would start toning. It is because the weight shifts to the parts of the body that makes you look good. Stand in front of the mirror and notice how your arms are toning and your face muscles have lighten, even though the weight might be almost same on the scale.
RULE NO.3 – WEIGHT TRAINING IS NECESSARY :
If you want lean muscles, weight training is what you must adopt. You can’t rely on cardio to get that perfect body shape, even though you will get lighter body. Make yourself sweat in the gym and follow the instructions of your trainer and don’t shy away from using weights.
