Doesn't that picture look great? I absolutely love the beach and am hoping to be able to soon take my whole family on a trip there! My oldest son went when he was two along with us but we haven't been able to get back since then (2 more kids later, ya know?) One of the concerns that we have (and likely most people have!) with booking a vacation is the cost. I never want to pay full price for my groceries and toiletries, so why would I want to for my vacations?
We have looked several places for prices, and one of these has been Orlando Vacation Packages. While it isn't the beach, it is Disney World , and to be honest - I think my kids would like Disney better! I guess one of the great things about Florida is that it is a smaller state across, so the beach is never more than a few hours away!
While Disney probably won't happen for us this year (or maybe even next), I have a goal to get our oldest there before he turns 10! I figure if we can go in two years the kids will be 7, 4, and 3. That's a great age for kids to go to Disney! One of the features I really like about the website is that you can customize your visit based on how long you are wanting to stay and what you are looking to do. A few days at Disney and a few days on the beach would do us all well. You don't have to do it all - you can be selective!
You also have a choice of your hotels or even rental homes. I am really liking the idea of staying somewhere that we would be able to make our own meals. So much of a vacation budget can be spent on food - but if you can make your own you can save so much!
