There are a couple of programs in the tri-state area that can help you save money on gas, and 2 of the 3 have links to your shopping!
KROGER:
Kroger just announced today they are changing their gas program for more savings for customers! In the past, if you spent $100, you would save $0.10/gallon at the pump.
Little Miss Know It All Readers were the first to hear this news on her site! Now, they have changed this to make it cumulative. For example, if you spend $100, you get $0.10/gallon. If you spend $200, you get $0.20/gallon. And, if you use their 1-2-3 Mastercard, you receive an additional $0.05/gallon. Make sure you are signed up for the Kroger Plus card - that is how they track your spending for this!
BIGGS:
You know this is one of my favorites! At Biggs, for every $10.00 you spend, you will receive $0.01/gallon. Also, there are items throughout the store that receive
bonus pump perks. For example, this week Gold Star Chili 10 oz. cans carry an additional $0.02/gallon pump perks reward! These points accumulate too! And, the best part is - for this weekends TRIPLES event, the amount for pump perks is calculated
before your coupons come off the total!!!! This means big savings on gas! Again, this discount is tied to your pump perks card, so make sure to sign up at customer service if you haven't yet!
SPEEDWAY:
Speedway has a gas program also! Go into speedway and sign up for a speedy rewards card. Basically, it rewards you with various gift cards based on your spending. They will also have certain items each week that you get bonus speedy points on when you buy. Go to your local Speedway to sign up!

The Bigg's triple event is now in full swing! I went to Florence today and spent $42 and saved $178!!! A few things I noticed today that I want to let you all know about.......the gold star coupons are all coded under one barcode, which means if you are getting more than 2 of the gold star coupons (even if you are getting 2 cans and 2 frozen items), only the first 2 coupons will double....the computers have it set up that way - so be aware! Also, the cans are marked for $1.99, but were ringing up earlier at $2.39 - so be aware of this as well! I just want to make sure you all will save as much money as you can! As far as stocking, they were doing their best to keep up with all of us (it was VERY busy!). They looked to be continuously bringing out more stock - especially ice cream :-) So.....how did you all do? Let me know and if you have pictures feel free to post those too! I love hearing brags about a great shop!
